St Neots has been twinned with Faches Thumesnil since the 13th October 1990. The present population of this market town is approximately 30,000 and is rapidly growing. Il is located int he county of Cambridgeshire, on the main road of the city of Cambridge and is crossed by the river Ouse.
This picturesque town is named after the Saxon Saint Neots, and grew around an 11th century Benedictine Priory. Other nearby towns are Peterborough, Bedford and Milton Keynes.
Over time it has become a prosperous market town embracing three other small villages. Its fast rail link to London (less than an hour's journey) and the North has made it a great place for commuters. It also has quite large light industrial areas made up of retail outlets, manufacturing and storage. _________________________________________________ Météo de Saint Neots _________________________________________________ |
